The Defiance boys and girls bowling teams split with Rossoford on Monday from C&H Lanes as the girls saw a narrow 2,118-2,033 victory while the boys fell 2,674-2,444.
It was an impressive night for two Defiance boys in particular as Trey Siler bowled a 237 and a 173 to lead the Bulldogs while Kenny Schlosser bowled a 203 and 161. Rossford saw Quintin Borden bowl a 237 and 196 with his teammate Trevor Wayne just behind him at 226 and 204.
On the girls side Defiance was just able to edge out the Bulldogs thanks in part to a nice second game from Mabel Adams that saw her roll a 213 after a 144 in the first game to lead Defiance. Hayleigh Jones was second with a 141 and 137. Rossford were led by Kaitlyn Dewey's 224 and 180.
