MIDLAND, Mich. — Zach Willeman picked up the rare three-inning save for the Great Lakes Loons (Single-A) on Monday, closing out a 3-0 blanking of the Fort Wayne TinCaps.

Willeman, a Napoleon High School and Kent State product, allowed three hits and two walks over three scoreless frames for the Loons, a Los Angeles Dodgers’ affiliate.

Willeman now has two saves in 11 appearances and five starts for Great Lakes with 32 strikeouts and a 5.80 ERA in 40.1 innings.
