COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. — Zach Willeman continued his impressive return from Tommy John surgery, earning his second win in relief for the Single-A Great Lakes Loons on Sunday in a 4-2 win over the West Michigan Whitecaps.

Willeman, a Napoleon and Kent State grad, pitched 2.1 innings of relief, coming on in the fourth frame. The former Wildcat allowed five hits and both Whitecap runs while striking out two with a walk.

The Los Angeles Dodgers' farmhand is 2-0 with Great Lakes in two appearances and 3-0 overall including time with the Arizona League Dodgers. Willeman has 21 strikeouts and a 1.69 ERA in seven total minor league appearances and 16 innings.
