TULSA, Okla. — In his first appearance since April 27, Art Warren was solid in an inning of relief for the Arkansas Travelers (Double-A) in a 6-0 win over the Tulsa Drillers on Saturday.

Warren, a Napoleon grad, had been saddled on the injured list for over a month before retaking the mound as part of a four-pitcher, five-hit shutout of the Drillers. Warren struck out two of the three batters he faced, lowering his season ERA to a miniscule 0.93.

The Seattle Mariners’ farmhand is 1-1 on the year in 10 relief outings with 12 strikeouts and five saves in 9.2 innings worked.
