NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Art Warren earned his second win of the season for the Arkansas Travelers (Double-A) on Monday, pitching 1.1 innings of scoreless ball in a 4-2 win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals.

Warren, a Napoleon High School grad, came in with two outs in the eighth inning after Northwest Arkansas tied the game on a blown save. Warren issued one walk but did not surrender a hit in 1.1 innings of work.

The former Wildcat and current Seattle Mariners’ farmhand is 2-1 for Arkansas with 10 saves in 18 outings with 23 strikeouts, just eight walks and a 1.00 ERA in 18 innings.
