KENAI, AK — The Napoleon River Bandits opened the Bill Miller Big Fish Tournament with a 8-2 victory over Rhode Island on Tuesday morning.

Eight different Bandits drove in a run each while pounding out 10 hits. Landon Willeman, Austin Lichty, Caleb Frank and Nate Vold each had two singles.

Daryke Bass picked up the ‘W’ for Napoleon allowing a run in four innings with two strikeouts.

The Bandits improve to 20-9 on the season and would face East River Legion on Tuesday night, which wasn’t complete as of press time.
