TROY — Napoleon 300 split two games on Friday, defeating Sidney 5-4 before suffering a 10-5 loss to Greenville.
Christian Petersen (Patrick Henry) fanned 10 hitters over six frames to earn the win in the opener. Landon Willeman (Napoleon) finished off Sidney in the seventh to garner the save.
Willeman doubled home Nate Vold in the third frame while Hunter Bostater (Fairview) drove home Willeman with a single.
Jeron Williams (Archbold) sparked the Bandits in the fifth with a double and later scored on a Jacob Smith (Napoleon) single. Axel Shanks (Patrick Henry) scored on a wild pitch and Bostater came home on wild pitch.
Greenville jumped out to an 8-0 lead after two innings before Napoleon cut the lead in half with four in the third. Greenville pushed the lead to 10-4 in the fourth before Napoleon tallied its final run in the sixth.
Napoleon stands 4-3 on the season.
