BOISE, Idaho — Lee Edward Flory Sr., a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023, in Boise, Idaho, at the age of 94.
The son of Edward David and Cora Mae Flory, he was born on October 5, 1928, in Jewell, Ohio.
Lee married his wife, Frances Irene Richards on July 11, 1958. They had four children.
Lee is survived by his loving family, his wife of 64 years, Frances of Meridian, Idaho, daughter, Sharon (Craig) Hoffman of Meridian, Idaho, son, David (Diana) Flory of Canby, Oregon, daughter, Shelby (Frank) Beaudry of Canby, Oregon, and son, Lee (Angela) Flora of Beaverton, Oregon, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Cora Flory and sisters, Thelma Shannon, Marie Gessner and Martha Wolfrum.
Lee will be interred at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Road, Boise, Idaho.
