ENGADINE, Mich. — Longtime resident of the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club in Engadine, Jennie Louise Snyder, 87, formerly of Napoleon, Ohio, died Tuesday evening, June 25, 2019, at Newberry Assisted Living Community, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 31, 1932, in Crystal Lake, Illinois, daughter of the late Art and Alice (Tessendorf) Pohlman, Jennie was a 1950 graduate of Defiance High School.
On December 27, 1951, Jennie married the late Robert K. Snyder and together raised four children, Trinda (Steve) Lane of Engadine, Robert (Colleen) Snyder of Fond Du Lac, Wis., James (Sandi) Snyder of Engadine and Kenneth (Linda) Snyder of Hamilton Lake, Ind. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and brother, Ted Pohlman of Defiance, Ohio.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation services have taken place. Inurnment will take place at St. John’s UCC Church Cemetery in Holgate, Ohio, at a later date.
