Defiance County maintenance supervisor Ron Cereghin is pictured in the midst of a renovation project his staff is undertaking in the county commissioners’ offices on Court Street in Defiance. The project started with the replacement of carpet, but a beetle infestation was discovered in the wood flooring beneath. The floors have since been removed throughout the offices and will be replaced with concrete. Drywall will be installed in the office, where commissioners normally meet. In the meantime, commissioners have temporarily moved their offices to the KeyBank building that they own at 414 W. Second St.
