PAULDING — The Paulding County Area Foundation has announced that the 2022 Paulding County Fair livestock sale has broken records again.
Following a record breaking 2021 livestock sale of $297,000, the total sale this year was just over $374,000.
“I have grown up as a part of Paulding County Fair for many years,” stated Tony Miller, Paulding County Jr. Fair Board advisor. “I am amazed each year how truly blessed we are to have such a wonderful community of supporters who believe in our youth and support our future leaders.”
A release from the Paulding County Area Foundation noted that when buyers purchase animals at the livestock sale, they are supporting livestock raised by Paulding County 4H and FFA youth. The purchase helps support the two programs, as well as the exhibitors, through their educational endeavors and other expenses the youth experience as they participate in their years of showing.
