PAULDING — Two Paulding County people were arrested last week on drug charges after the Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force executed two search warrants in Paulding County on July 3, according to Max Nofziger, commander.
Angela Lambert, 39, Paulding, was arrested during a search warrant execution at 310 S. Cherry St., Paulding. Seized at the residence were more than a 100 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, several drug paraphernalia items and more than $500 in U.S. currency.
Charlie Egnor Jr., 43, Oakwood, was arrested during a search warrant execution at 201 S. First St., Oakwood. Seized at the residence were 24 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, more than 3 grams of suspected MDMA (ecstasy), suspected marijuana and several drug paraphernalia items.
Lambert and Egnor were charged with possession of drugs and taken to the Paulding County Jail.
In both incidents, the Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force will be working with the Paulding County Prosecutor Joe Burkard for consideration of additional felony drug charges.
Assisting the Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force were the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, Paulding County dog warden and Oakwood Police Department.
