Jason Schnipke, 44, Ottawa, appeared for sentencing on charges of trespass in a habitation, a fourth-degree felony; and menacing by stalking, a first-degree misdemeanor. He was placed on community control for five years with conditions, including that he serve 90 days in Putnam County Jail with credit for 34 days served while his case was pending, and complete recommended counseling and treatment. The first charge was amended from burglary, a second-degree felony, while a charge of criminal trespassing, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, was dismissed.
