State Patrol

Saturday, 5:58 a.m., on Ohio 18 in Defiance County's Highland Township, a westbound vehicle driven by Michael Schwab, 61, Malinta, struck a deer, causing heavy damage to the vehicle.

Saturday, 10:02 p.m., on Ohio 576 in Williams County's Bridgewater Township, a northbound vehicle driven by James Dunlap, 55, Camden, Mich., struck a deer, causing moderate damage to the vehicle.

Saturday, 7:49 a.m., vandalism was reported in the 21000 block of Ohio 18.

Saturday, 10:35 a.m., Brandy Adkins, 28, Defiance, was served two warrants from Defiance Common Pleas Court while at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio (CCNO), rural Stryker. 

Monday, 7:54 a.m., David Brummett, 29, and Craig Waldron, 23, were served warrants from Defiance Common Pleas Court following a traffic stop by the Hicksville Police Department in the 500 block of West High Street.

Monday, 10:11 a.m., a theft was reported in the 14000 block of Fullmer Road.

June 18, 9:50 p.m., on Greenler Road, near Cleveland Avenue, an eastbound vehicle driven by Calvin Held, 18, 1931 Mistywood Court, struck a deer. Damage was light to the vehicle.

Thursday, 4:05 p.m., on East Second Street at Main Street, a westbound vehicle driven by Roxanne Rodman, 63, Mark Center, struck the rear of a westbound vehicle driven by James Mann, 63, 1730 Cross Creek Lane. No injuries were reported. Damage was light to both vehicles. Rodman was cited for assured clear distance.

Friday, 11:49 a.m., a possible break-in was reported in the 1900 block of Darbyshire Drive.

Friday, 3:22 p.m., a theft was reported in the 1100 block of South Clinton Street.

Friday, 5:48 p.m., prescription pills were reported stolen in the 900 block of North Lane Street.

Friday, 6:21 p.m., Victor Crutchfield, 26, South Carolina, was cited for OVI, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Elliott Lane and East High Street.

Friday, 9:16 p.m., vandalism was reported in the 900 block of Washington Avenue. 

Saturday, 12:54 a.m., Lucius Ridgeway, 40, 1500 Baltimore Road, was charged with OVI and no turn signal following a traffic stop at Deatrick Street and Harrison Avenue.

Saturday, 1:31 a.m., Edward Myers, 39, 1030 Ottawa Ave., was charged with a protection order violation following a call to the residence and taken to CCNO. 

Saturday, 1:33 a.m., Jacob Flores, 23, 708 Elbert St., was arrested on a warrant following a traffic stop on Harrison Avenue and taken to CCNO. 

Saturday, 3:02 a.m., Nicholas Huizenga, 30, Dupont, was charged with domestic violence following an alleged incident at Super 8 Motel, 1053 Hotel Drive. He was taken to CCNO. 

Saturday, 3:12 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Pinewood Drive reported their landscaping rocks had been tampered with.

Saturday, 4:01 p.m., a wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Hopkins Street.

Saturday, 11:51 p.m., Samuel Flores, 20, 143 E. Sessions Ave., was charged with operating a vehicle after underaged consumption following a traffic stop at Jefferson Avenue and Williams Street.

Monday, 11:46 a.m., a bracelet was reported stolen in the 200 block of Gray Street.

Monday, 1:26 p.m., a theft was reported in the 500 block of East Second Street.

Saturday, 2:46 p.m., a theft was reported in the 100 block of Sholl Terrace.

Friday, 4:20 a.m., on U.S. 24 in Washington Township, a westbound vehicle driven by Bryan Shively, 41, 1983 Jefferson Ave., struck a deer. Damage was heavy to the vehicle.

Friday, 5:46 p.m. a stop sign was damaged at county roads 6A and N. 

Saturday, 5:44 a.m., on County Road U, west of County Road 13, Freedom Township, an eastbound vehicle driven by Robert Mitchell, 57, Napoleon, struck a deer. Damage was light to the vehicle.

Saturday, 5:45 a.m., on County Road 24, north of U.S. 6, Ridgeville Township, a northbound vehicle driven by Julia Gearhart, 20, 213 Wyandotte Ave., struck a deer. Damage was light to the vehicle.

Saturday, 11:12 a.m., a vehicle window was reported damaged at Trucker's Paradise, 461 County Road 424, Liberty Center.

Saturday, 11:32 a.m., a road sign was damaged in the 100 block of County Road 15, Napoleon.

Sunday, 5:37 a.m., Thomas Otto, 44, Holgate, was cited for marked lanes and failure to control after reportedly damaging a sign with his vehicle in the 100 block of Railway Avenue, Holgate. 

Sunday, 12:46 p.m., a headstone was damaged near U.S. 6 and County Road 17. 

Sunday, 5:25 p.m., James Anteau, 39, Deshler, was charged with domestic violence following a call to the 200 block of South Keyser Street, Deshler. He was taken to CCNO.

Monday, 2:26 a.m., on Ohio 108, north of County Road S, a vehicle struck a cow. The crash report was unavailable at press time.

Sunday, 8:31 p.m., on Ohio 18, east of County Road 11, Marion Township, an eastbound vehicle driven by Shaina Lako, 16, Findlay, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. Lako was taken by Holgate EMS to Henry County Hospital, Napoleon, for suspected minor injuries. Damage was heavy to the vehicle. Lako was cited for failure to control.

Friday, 7:20 p.m., a theft was reported at Rite Aid, 1111 Scott St., and is under investigation.

Saturday, 9:46 a.m., a theft was reported in the 600 block of Beckham Street and is under investigation.

Saturday, 4:14 p.m., officers responded to a report of an unknown subject rummaging through vehicles at Filling Home of Mercy, 460 Oxford St.

Sunday, 3:21 p.m., in the 90 block of Valleybrook Lane, Elizabeth Castorena, 31, Napoleon, was arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant. Bond was posted.

Sunday, 8:23 p.m., Erik Johnson, 37, Napoleon, was cited for speed and expired driver's license following a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Sunday, 9:19 p.m., Matthew Rednour, 40, Napoleon, was served charges for theft.

Sunday, 10:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of a male jumping in and out of traffic in the area of Appian and East Maumee avenues. The individual could not be located.

Fire — Friday, 2:40 p.m., firefighters were called to a vehicle fire in the 10000 block of Ohio 2.
