State Patrol

Wednesday, 7:10 a.m., at Williams County roads 16 and D, Pulaski Township, a southbound vehicle driven by Blake Dolt, 52, Oakwood, reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Jenny Bischoff, 61, Stryker. Both vehicles traveled off the southwest side of the roadway, Blake's striking a concrete base and utility pole, and Bischoff's striking a utility pole and traffic sign. Dolt was taken by air ambulance to St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, and Bischoff was transported to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan. Condition updates were unavailable. Damage was heavy to both vehicles. Assisting at the scene were Williams County EMS and the Bryan Fire Department. 

Wednesday, 10:15 a.m., on Williams County Road 12C, south of County Road C, Center Township, a northeast-bound vehicle driven by Alyssa Favourite, 29, Montpelier, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway to avoid a deer and struck a guardrail and fence. No injuries were reported. Damage was moderate to the vehicle. Favourite was cited for failure to control.

Friday, 6:52 a.m. at Ohio 15 and U.S. 127 in Williams County's Pulaski Township, a westbound vehicle driven by Casey Cotter, 21, Napoleon, struck the rear of a westbound vehicle driven by Wenona Richards, 26, Bryan, which in turn struck the rear of a westbound vehicle driven by John LaFountain, 53, Swanton. LaFountain and Richards had been stopped at a red light. No injuries were reported. Damage was light to LaFountain's vehicle and moderate to the other two. Cotter was cited for assured clear distance.

Thursday, 1:41 p.m., a theft was reported in the 26000 block of Hoffman Road.

Friday, 12:20 p.m., a counterfeit $20 bill was reportedly used at Biggby Coffee, 720 N. Clinton St.

Friday, 8:29 p.m., Judith Vasquez, 32, Defiance, was served a warrant from Defiance Municipal Court. 

Friday, 11:27 p.m., Auston Coressel, 19, 1676 Terrawenda Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and underage consumption following a call to the same address. 

Saturday, 1:23 a.m., Marie Budd, 48, Oakwood, was served a warrant for theft from Defiance Municipal Court. 

Saturday, 3:01 p.m., Matthew Brubaker, 47, 1477 Terrawenda Drive, was arrested on a warrant from Defiance Common Pleas Court and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio (CCNO), Stryker. 

Napoleon Police

Wednesday, 4:57 p.m., on West Riverview Avenue at Jahns Road, an eastbound vehicle driven by Jarnail Singh, 72, Napoleon, struck the rear of an eastbound vehicle driven by David Wachtman, 55, 28276 Gerken Road, while Wachtman was reportedly stopped waiting to turn left. Singh was taken by Napoleon Fire and Rescue to the Henry County Hospital for suspected minor injuries; a condition update was unavailable. Damage was heavy to Singh's vehicle and light to Wachtman's. Singh was cited for assured clear distance. 

Friday, 6 a.m., Charles Hall, 38, Malinta, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop at Monroe Street and Oakwood Avenue.

Friday, 7:30 a.m., Roger Fackler, 64, Leipsic, was charged with vandalism.

Fire — Friday, 8:47 p.m., crews responded to the 200 block of Enterprise Avenue for a hazardous-materials spill. 


Fire — Saturday, 2:21 p.m., firefighters responded to a car fire in the area of East Morrison and South Ash streets, Edgerton.
