Monday, 7:37 p.m., on Christy Road, south of Defiance-Williams County Line Road, Tiffin Township, a southbound vehicle driven by Joseph Fleming, 25, 712 Pierce St., reportedly swerved off the right side of the roadway to avoid an unidentified northbound vehicle that had entered its lane. No injuries were reported. Damage was light to the vehicle.
Monday, 9:53 p.m., on Banner School Road, west of Christy Road, Tiffin Township, a westbound vehicle driven by Shanna Martin, 41, Evansport, struck a deer. Damage was moderate to the vehicle.
Tuesday, 10:14 p.m., on Ohio 15, south of Scott Road, Washington Township, a northbound vehicle driven by Dorcas Perez, 38, 1001 Greenbriar Lane, struck two deer, causing heavy damage to the vehicle.
Sunday, 4:35 p.m., on North Clinton Street at U.S. 24, a southbound vehicle driven by Joel Wulf, 29, Napoleon, struck the rear of a southbound vehicle driven by Beverly Hohenberger, 68, 730 E. Front St. Hohenberger's passenger, David Hohenberger, 69, of the same address, was taken by the Defiance Fire Department to ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital for suspected minor injuries. Damage was light to Hohenberger's vehicle, and none was reported to Wulf's. Wulf was cited for assured clear distance.
Thursday, 4:35 p.m., Amy Philquist, 21, 1221 Ayersville Ave., was arrested at Mercy Defiance Hospital, 1404 E. Second St., on a failure-to-appear warrant from Fulton County. She was taken to CCNO.
Thursday, 6:33 p.m., trespassing was reported in the 600 block of Moss Street.
Thursday, 7 p.m., a possible burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Washington Avenue.
Friday, 12:42 p.m., trespassing was reported in the 600 block of Moss Street.
Thursday, 10:28 p.m., Nathan Brown, 31, Defiance, was charged with improper display of license plates, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the village.
Thursday, 5:50 a.m., a yard and road were reportedly damaged by a vehicle in the 500 block of Township Road 3, McClure.
Thursday, 1:30 p.m., at County Road A and Washington Township Road U, an eastbound vehicle driven by Jennifer Warner, 38, 898 Sunday St., reportedly failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a northbound vehicle driven by Angela Graham, 44, Toledo. Graham was treated at the scene for possible injuries. Damage was moderate to both vehicles. Warner was cited for failure to yield.
Thursday, 11:18 p.m., a dog was reported running loose in the area of county roads V and 7.
Friday, 2:59 p.m., theft of gas was reported in the 100 block of East Maple Street, Liberty Center.
Thursday, noon, Ricky Clevenger, 71, Crawfordville, Fla., was cited for failure to control following a single-vehicle accident in the 2300 block of Scott Street. No injuries were reported.
Thursday, 4:06 p.m., Anthony Rodriguez, 34, Napoleon, was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle accident at U.S. 24 and Scott Street.
Thursday, 5:59 p.m., fraud was reported in the 600 block of West Riverview Avenue. The matter is under investigation.
Thursday, 7:30 p.m., Robert Banta, 39, Washington Township, Mich., was cited for a stop sign violation following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Scott Street.
Thursday, 9:17 p.m., Jassi Gurbakhshish, 47, Ont., was cited for a stop sign violation following a traffic stop at American Road and Industrial Drive.
Fire — Friday, 12:38 p.m., firefighters responded to an alarm at Northtowne Mall, 1500 N. Clinton St.
Fire — Friday, 1:15 p.m., firefighters responded to an electrical fire at 27979 Orchard Drive. The fire was extinguished upon their arrival, and no injuries were reported. Crews cleared the scene at 3 p.m.
