Thursday, 10:14 p.m., on Williams County Road R in Mill Creek Township, a westbound vehicle driven by David Chamberlain, 47, Alvordton, struck a bridge abutment on the right side of the roadway, then crossed over to the left side striking a mailbox. Damage to the vehicle was heavy. Chandler was cited for failure to control and OVI.
Sunday, 9 p.m., on Ohio 2 in Williams County's Springfield Township, a westbound vehicle driven by Ryan Pokornik, 20, Bryan, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.
Saturday, 9:32 a.m., Savid Davis, 32, Defiance, was arrested on a probation warrant.
Saturday, 7:21 a.m., Ashley Grond, 33, Bryan, was arrested on three warrants from Defiance County Common Pleas Court.
Thursday, 4:24 p.m., on Atlantic Street near Baltimore Street, a northbound vehicle driven by Margaret Stickan, 69, Napoleon, struck the rear of the northbound vehicle driven by Donna Diaz-Long 59, 700 Kiser Road, Unit 68, Defiance. Damage to both vehicles was light. Stickan was charged with assured clear distance. Diaz-Long was transported by Defiance EMS to Marcy Hospital. No condition update was available at press time.
Friday, 8:45 p.m., Autumn Caperton, 22, 35 Main St., was charged with disorderly conduct after an alleged incident at the residence. In connection with the incident, Noah Hill, 18, 21315 Powers Road, was charged with OVI.
Sunday, 11:35 a.m., a shoplifting complaint was reported at Menards, 08845 Ohio 66.
Sunday, 6:14 p.m, Luis Fuentes, 25, 722 Thurston St., Defiance was arrested on two warrants out of Bryan following an incident at that address. He was transported to CCNO.
Monday, 3:03 p.m., Joseph McCampbell, 18, Gahanna, Ohio, was arrested for domestic violence following an incident at 724 Greenhouse Ave. He was transported to CCNO.
Saturday, 4:16 a.m., on Kaufman Street in Holgate, a vehicle driven by Timothy Fowler, 34, Holgate, left the roadway after the driver reportedly fell asleep, and struck a parked vehicle owned by Desiree Johnson, 413 Kaufman St., Holgate. Damage was heavy to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Fowler was cited for failure to control.
Saturday, 8:49 p.m., on U.S. 6, a westbound vehicle driven by Michael Thorpe, 34, Temperance, Mich., went left of center and sideswiped an eastbound vehicle driven by Harry Neiderhiser, 82, McClure. Thorpe's vehicle left the roadway, drove through a field and came to rest on the highway. No injuries were reported. Thorpe was cited for OVI. Damage was light to Thorpe's vehicle and moderate to Neiderhiser's.
Sunday, 1:26 a.m., on East Summit Street in McClure, a vehicle driven by Geoffrey Springstead, 47, Weston, backed from a parking lot and struck a parked motorcycle owned by Robert Plotts, McClure. Damage was heavy to Plotts' vehicle, while Springstead's vehicle was not damaged. Springstead was charged with felonious assault and taken to CCNO.
Sunday, 1:41 a.m., on U.S. 24, a vehicle driven by Justin Pfeiffer, 28, Monroe, Mich., struck a deer. Damage was heavy to the vehicle.
Monday, 3:56 p.m., on Ohio 109 in Liberty Township, a car driven by Shanda Schuette, 49, 4714 County Road A, Liberty Center, struck a turkey. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.
Monday, 4:25 p.m., on County Road R in Napoleon Township, a van driven by Bailey Click, 16, 1721 Oakwood Ave., Napoleon, went off the road into a ditch. She was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.
Friday, 11:39 p.m., on U.S. 24, a vehicle driven by Jennifer Warner, 37, Defiance, struck a deer. Damage was heavy to the vehicle.
Saturday, 12:20 p.m., a theft was reported in the 800 block of Daggett Drive.
Saturday, 6:41 p.m., keys were reported stolen from the 400 block of East Washington Street.
Saturday, 9:03 p.m., Anthony Wright, 20, Napoleon, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to control and no headlights following an accident on Arden Court.
Sunday, 11:32 a.m., Maria Guevara, 42, Napoleon, was charged with theft after an alleged incident at Walmart, 1815 Scott St.
