June 5, 1:52 a.m., on Casebeer Miller Road, north of Ohio 18, Hicksville Township, a southbound vehicle driven by Michael Owen, 17, Hicksville, struck a raccoon. Damage was moderate to the vehicle, which was leaking fluid and towed from the scene.
June 5, 9:33 p.m., on Ohio 18, east of County Road 115, Defiance Township, a westbound vehicle driven by Linda Knupp, 69, Hicksville, struck a deer. Damage was moderate to the vehicle.
Thursday, 1:01 p.m., on Bradshaw Road, near The Bend Road, Delaware Township, an eastbound vehicle driven by Nathan Heater, 18, Ney, traveled off the right side of the roadway into Funk Cemetery and struck a headstone. No injuries were reported. Damage was moderate to the vehicle. Heater was cited for failure to control.
Friday, 1:06 pm., on Domersville Road, south of Allen Road, Adams Township, a vehicle driven by John Nagel, 83, 03342 Domersville Road, began a U-turn in a private drive, entered the northbound lane and collided with a northbound semi driven by Ethan Scantlen, 23, Hicksville. No injuries were reported. Damage was light to the semi and moderate to Nagel's vehicle. Nagel was cited for failure to yield.
Monday, 10:16 a.m., Brandon Cooper, 22, Oakwood, was arrested on a warrant from Defiance County Common Pleas Court.
Monday, 4:50 p.m., a theft was reported in the 22000 block of Schultz Road.
Tuesday, 3:16 a.m., Daniel Utter, 50, Defiance, was arrested on a warrant from Defiance Municipal Court.
Monday, 6:45 a.m., at Domersville Road and East Second Street, a southbound vehicle driven by Austin Little, 25, 07507 Christy Road, struck the rear of a southbound vehicle driven by Sabrina Armstrong, 57, Napoleon, while Armstrong was stopped at the traffic light. No injuries were reported. Damage was light to both vehicles. Little was cited for assured clear distance.
Tuesday, 8:06 p.m., a shoplifting complaint was reported at Menards, 08845 Ohio 66.
Tuesday, 5:28 a.m., on County Road Y, a vehicle driven by Aaron Swanson, 28, 900 Anthony Wayne Blvd., Defiance, failed to negotiate a curve and struck a mailbox and two hay bales before coming to rest in a ditch. He was cited for failure to control. Damage was heavy to the vehicle.
Tuesday, 5:49 p.m., Jason Cocke, 48, Napoleon, was charged with domestic violence after an alleged incident in the 00700 block of County Road 17D, Napoleon, and taken to CCNO.
Tuesday, 9:08 p.m., Scott Michael, 41, Napoleon, was charged with felonious assault and child endangering following a crash on Ohio 108 and County Road V. He was taken to CCNO. The accident remains under investigation.

Fire — Tuesday, 6:07 p.m., firefighters were called to 200 Antwerp Drive for a report of a GMC Terrain on fire.
