State Patrol

Saturday, 12:52 a.m., on Williams County Road 12, north of U.S. 20, Bridgewater Township, a southbound vehicle driven by Haley Maxcy, 18, Bryan, slid off the right side of the roadway and into a ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was heavy to the vehicle. Maxcy was cited for failure to control. 

Monday, 7:15 a.m., on Ohio 2 in Williams County Pulaski Township, an eastbound vehicle driven by Jessica Gericke, 36, Archbold, struck a deer. Damage was moderate to the vehicle.

Defiance Sheriff

March 5, 11:51 a.m., on Ohio 281, south of Deerwood Drive, Richland Township, a northbound vehicle driven by Wendy Stykemain, 49, 643 Clinton St., struck the rear of a northbound vehicle driven by Melissa Myers, 46, 2119 Shawnee Drive. Myers' vehicle then struck the rear of a third vehicle driven by an unknown motorist who left the scene. No injuries were reported. Damage was light to the Stykemain and Myers vehicles. Stykemain was cited for assured clear distance.

March 5, 7:23 p.m., on U.S. 127, north of Ohio 18, Delaware Township, a southbound vehicle driven by Danielle Jones, 35, Paulding, struck a deer. Damage was light to the vehicle.

Thursday, 4:02 p.m., on The Bend Road, south of Scott Road, Washington Township, a southbound vehicle driven by Jacquelin Slattman, 63, 20154 Roehrig Road, struck a deer. Damage was light to the vehicle.

Saturday, 2:38 p.m., at Hire Road and Ohio 281, Richland Township, a northbound vehicle driven by Cailah Rickard, 22, 25776 Edith St., struck the rear of a northbound vehicle driven by Lindsay Roose, 34, 26713 Defiance-Ayersville-Pleasant Bend Road, while Roose was stopped at the stop sign. No injuries were reported. Damage was light to both vehicles. Rickard was cited for assured clear distance.

Sunday, 4:02 p.m., Eric Greene, 24, Defiance, was arrested on a warrant from Williams County.

Sunday, 8:32 p.m., Chelsea Carter, 23, Defiance, was arrested on a TPO violation.

Monday, 6:58 p.m., Brenton Clements, 29, Defiance, was arrested on warrant on indictment from Defiance County Common Pleas Court.

Monday, 9:04 a.m., Nicole Dodson, 22, Defiance, was arrested on a warrant from Defiance Municipal Court.

Tuesday, 6:53 a.m., a theft was reported in the 1800 block of East Second Street.

Tuesday, 9:47 a.m., vandalism was reported in the 1400 block of South Clinton Street.

Tuesday, 1:08 p.m., vandalism was reported in the 2200 block of Baltimore Road. 

Tuesday, 4:20 p.m., a sex offense was reported on Palmer Drive and is under investigation.

Henry Sheriff

Tuesday, 8:49 p.m., an incident of identity theft was reported in the 00600 block of County Road 8, Napoleon.

Tuesday, 9:05 p.m., on County Road S, a vehicle driven by Maguire Vollmar, 17, Liberty Center, struck a ditch and cement driveway culvert before coming to rest in a yard. He was cited for failure to control. There were no injuries. Damage was heavy to the vehicle.

Tuesday, 11:15 a.m., theft of fuel was reported at Murphy Oil, 1875 Scott St.

Tuesday, 3:22 p.m., a reported assault in the 600 block of Stout Street is under investigation.

Crane Township-Cecil

Fire — Tuesday, 1:36 p.m., firefighters were called to a fire pit blaze that spread at 07370 County Road 180.

Auglaize Township

Fire — Today, 12:11 a.m., firefighters were called to a carbon monoxide investigation at 18864 County Road 1005.
