MW Solutions has acquired another machine shop and its equipment. The acquired equipment is now up and running at the shop, allowing the tool room to open up to outside customers.

MW Solutions has grown.

The Defiance business made a more than half a million investment to acquire another machine shop and its equipment.

“We’ve expanded that part (of our operations) and want to open the tool room side to outside customers,” said Matthew Winzeler, president of MW Solutions. “We have a vast array of capabilities when it comes to machining and design. We build automation equipment and do a lot of (integrated robotics) for the automotive industry. ... We do custom fabrication and custom machining.”

He pointed out that the machine shop acquisition supports the rest of the business’s operations.

Winzeler said that with the acquisition, he hopes to improve sales, which already are approximately $2-$3 million a year. For more information, visit www.mwsolutionsllc.com or email sales@mwsolutionsllc.com.

Winzeler said he has hired three additional staff for the machining side of operations.
