Central Insurance Companies employee, Deidra Hoschak, has been awarded the professional insurance designation Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. This is a professional credential recognized throughout the risk management and insurance business. She has completed a rigorous eight-course program of academic, ethical, and experience requirements.
Hoschak resides in Defiance, with her husband, Dustin, and their golden retriever, Sidney. She is the daughter of Dana Gunderman and the late Debbra Kauser. Hoschak is a current member and past president of Buckeye Insurance Professionals, a northwest Ohio local chapter of the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP).
Hoschak is a graduate of Paulding High School and started at Central as a temporary employee in commercial lines services. In February 2009, she accepted a permanent position in personal lines services and worked there for five years before transferring to PL Underwriting in the Central Regional Office. She recently transferred to the commercial underwriting department in March as a commercial underwriting technician. Hoschak also has earned her AINS, AIS, API, CIIP and CISR designations.
The American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters is a nonprofit educational organization founded in 1942 to establish a program of professional education and certification for those employed in the property and casualty insurance business.
