NAPOLEON — The Ladies Conquering Cancer Gala (LCCG) annual event took place May 18 at the Armory in Napoleon. This year’s theme was Rock the Runway.

Seven cancer survivors modeled outfits donated by local boutiques, which were later auctioned off in a live auction. The boutiques included: Top Knot, Wenleemae, TheHanger, Passion4Fashion, Blush Mountain, and Sara Heising — Independent Matilda Jane Trunk Keeper.

LCCG’s mission is to inspire to live life to its fullest by celebrating life with supportive women while raising funds for the advancement of cancer research and to support local families and communities impacted by the disease. The group has helped six local families over the last year and donate to Conquer Childhood Cancer annually, according to Mary Stefko, LCCG president.
