The Bulldogs once again battled their arch rival's,the Napoleon Wildcats on Thursday night at Brown Stadium. Unfortunately they took it on the chin but certainly not due to lack of effort. The Bulldogs, despite all of their offensive weapons were once again out coached due to a lack of uninspired play calling on the offensive side. Predictable and unimaginative, Napoleon easily countered defensively when they had to. Defiances inability to score from the 3 yard line only underscores the fact that it is time for a change as to who is calling the plays for the Bulldogs. Way too much talent in being wasted on and off the field.

We still ran the ball more than we passed though. We had two good running backs. Josh Hacker was one and I think Larry Hartzel was the other. Nothing against Sean Muarry but he is no Joe Williamson. Joe was one of our best qb's we have had. I know Josh was a 1,000 yard rusher and I believe larry was close if not over 1,000 yards. We have always been a running team I don't know why you people cant see that.

I have been with the bulldogs for 16 seasons and we have always been a running team. Coach brandon takes alot of heat for his play calling and yes he calls the plays but buti has a say in the offense and his word is final. It is not all Brandon and you people that complain about him I am sick of it. You have no clue as to what gos on down on the field. Why don't you come out of the stands and call some plays if you think you can do better.
