Randy Ashbaugh catches big flathead

Randy Ashbaugh, of Defiance, hoists a 40-pound flathead catfish he caught last Saturday below the Power Dam in the Auglaize River. He used a shad to catch the big fish, which was 42 inches long.

Wow!
I used to live near Defiance, and I've never seen anything like that around Defiance. I did read about huge catfish in Texas, when I lived there.
