Road Closures - School Openings

Trying to make my way to the Junior High this morning for yearbook pictures, schedule pick up, etc... was quite the challenge. Every road around the building (Clinton, Wayne, Arabella)was "closed" due to the on-going sewer issues/road de-construction.
What happens next week when all 600+ kids are trying to arrive at about the same time. Buses, cars, walkers, bike riders, etc...? What is that going to look like?
Will the city keep the school posted on progress and closures? Will the city or the school keep the parents informed on the progress and closures?
But the most important question... WILL MY CHILD BE ABLE TO SAFELY MAKE IT TO SCHOOL?
