Camp Naz at Paulding Church of the NazareneJuly 14, 2009
Camp Naz, a day camp for ages 5-12 was held July 6-10 at the Paulding Church of the Nazarene. The theme for this year's camp was "Science Alive" where the thirty-two campers explored science themes such as air pressure, genetics, habitats, and space. Each day was a different science theme. For example on genetics day, the campers made family albums, compared genetic traits, and extracted DNA from a banana. Besides the science activities, the campers preformed skits, human videos, and played water games. The day camp is a fundraising activity for the teens at the church. The director of the camp was Melissa Harder. Comments
