I first heard about the TEA Party Rallies back in February from American Family Association and I thought it was a good idea but when would I find the time. I am a stay-at-home, homeschool mom of four children and time is a precious commodity for me. My oldest daughter of 14 yrs. came to me and said we needed to do this. That is a parents dream and I could not let her down. I also saw this as a perfect opportunity for her to learn about grassroot efforts from the ground up and learn how OUR government should work. I helped put together the TEA Rally back in April and we have another one coming up on July 4th, from 1-4p.m. at Pontiac Park. Through this process I have come across many hard working and fed up citizens who are not even sure what to do to make a difference or even if they can. Many think, "Who am I and what could I possibly do that would make a difference"? If I can do this so can anyone else out there and we need to take action while we still can and are able to. That is also the beauty behind this TEA Party movement. It isn't just one person but MILLIONS and it isn't just one small voice but a victorious monumentous ROAR!! If you want to be a part of American History is Defiance, come to the rally. We would love to see you there!
