Who: The Salvation Army of Defiance Ohio and the Community Action Commission

What: To more efficiently deliver services to the public we will be closing our current Worship and Community Center at 712 S. Jackson Street, Defiance, Ohio 43512 on August 20, 2007 and transitioning into a smaller Service Unit office this summer.

"The new Salvation Army Service Unit will continue to provide social services assistance and food pantry services to the many people in need throughout our community. While our structure of service may be changing, the need of our local residents will continue. Therefore, I want to assure you that The Salvation Army will continue to offer the highest level of support to the community.," stated Major Kenneth W. Maynor, Divisional Commander of the Southwest Ohio North Eastern Kentucky.

We think you will be pleased with our new streamlined structure for distributing services and partnership with The Community Action Commission. Please feel free to contact JoAnne Bouch at (419) 782-1028, The Salvation Army Worship and Community Center or The Community Action Commission at (419) 784-2150 for further information.
