M. Lorraine Grim, 82, Defiance, died at 11:40 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2008, at Toledo Hospital.
She was born April 15, 1926, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Francis and Flossie (Tressler) Murphy. In 1946, she married Rev. John Grim, who died in 2000. She was a member of Defiance Church of the Brethren and a homemaker.
Surviving are: a daughter, Martha (Paul) Punches, Defiance; two sons, J. D. (Karen) of Defiance and Francis (Rita), Sherwood; a brother, Francis (Marge) Murphy, Defiance; a sister-in-law, Ethel Murphy, Defiance; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Thomas (Ken) Murphy and Cyrill Murphy, in infancy.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Defiance Church of the Brethren with Rev. Gene Yenser officiating. A private burial for the family will be at Evansport Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday in Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home.
