DELTA -- John F. Nelson, 55, Delta, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, in his home.
He was born Oct. 15, 1952, in Martins Ferry, the son of Roy and Eleanor (Brolin) Nelson. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are: two brothers, Victor of Delta and James, Canton; and three sisters, Irene Donaldson of Delta, Donna Langell of Dillonvale, and Violet Allen, Kirkland, Ariz.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and two brothers, Richard and Edward.
