State Patrol
Sunday, 12:55 p.m., on Ohio 107 in Williams County's Superior Township, a vehicle driven by Spencer Cole, 19, Montpelier, struck and killed a deer. Damage was moderate.

Defiance Police
Sunday, 5:34 p.m., at Fifth Street and Washington Avenue, a vehicle driven by Janet Carroll, 58, 834 Jefferson Ave., was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Marc Hoffman, 46, 1205 S. Jefferson Ave. Hoffman was cited for assured clear distance. Damage was light to both vehicles.

Sunday, Christopher Lennon, 22, 310 Summit St., was arrested on a bench warrant out of Defiance Municipal Court for failure to appear. He posted bond and was released with a court date.

Sunday, two 16-year-old females, one of Continental the other of Dupont, were charged with delinquency by means of theft following an alleged incident at the Northtowne Mall, 1500 N. Clinton St.

Sunday, Brian Schlegel, 24, 703 Emblanche Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damaging/endangering following an alleged incident at Mercy Hospital of Defiance, 1404 E. Second St.

Defiance Sheriff
Friday, Danielle Kleinhenn, 24, Sherwood, and Monica Doan, 21, 624 Ravine Drive, Defiance, were charged with disorderly conduct following an alleged incident on Gipe Road.

Sunday, Thomas McCoy, 24, 1003 Harrison Ave., was charged with burglary following an alleged incident in Washington Township.

Sunday, Bernard McCall Jr., 29, Indianapolis, was charged with OVI, driving under suspension, and no tail lights following a traffic stop.

Sunday, Mitchell Farlee, 44, 08091 Ohio 66, Defiance, was charged with disorderly conduct following an alleged incident on Ohio 15.

Hicksville Police
Sunday, Jessica Rangel, 23, Hicksville, was charged with OVI, failure to yield for a public safety vehicle and disorderly conduct following a traffic stop on South Bryan Street. Later that same day, she was again stopped and charged with driving under suspension.

Today, Samantha Ward, 19, St. Joe, Ind., was arrested on two warrants out of Defiance Municipal Court for failure to appear and failure to comply. She was also charged with six counts of passing bad checks.
Henry Sheriff
Sunday, 3:28 p.m., at 125 S. First St., Hamler, a truck driven by Thomas Giesige, 38, 7-885 County Road D, Hamler, and a car driven by Gail Whitman, 59, Genoa, collided. Damage to both vehicles was light.

Napoleon Police
Friday, 11:36 p.m., at 131 Meekison St., a truck driven by Eric Peabody, 37, 131 Meekison St., struck a parked car owned by Jeffery Gibson, 11410 County Road P, Napoleon. Damage to both vehicles was light.

Saturday, James Cox, 33, Napoleon, was arrested on a charge of OVI following a traffic stop at 1290 Independence Drive.

Saturday, Troy Murdock, 22, Napoleon, was arrested on charges of felonious assault and escape after an alleged incident at 1053 Dodd St.

Saturday, Ronald Donnelly, 44, Napoleon, was charged with DUI following a traffic stop at Front and Perry streets.

Fire " Saturday, 10:57 p.m., firefighters were called to Precision Products, plant 2, 1190 Precision Way, for an alarm. A heat detector on a generator activated when the machine malfunctioned. There was no fire.

Fire " Today, 1:14 a.m., firefighters were called to the Mary Walz residence, 1032 Jefferson Ave., for a smoking light switch. The switch was turned off and the owner was informed to call an electrician.
