BRYAN -- Julia Christine Repp, 19, Bryan, died at 6:20 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2008, in her home.

She was born Oct. 27, 1988, in Portland, Ore., the daughter of Donald and Darlene (Hurtig) Repp. She was a 2007 graduate of Great Lakes Adventist Academy, Cedar Lake, Mich., and a member of Trinity Seventh Day Adventist Church, rural Defiance. She was a member of the Bryan Swim Team for several years and Great Lakes Adventist Academy Orchestra and Aerokhanas, the gymnastics team at Great Lakes. She was an officer of the girls club at Great Lakes where she also served as a resident adviser. She was a lifeguard at Bryan YMCA and worked for her father at Don's Optical as a lens caster.

Surviving are her parents, Bryan; a brother, Douglas, Bryan; a grandmother, Betty Repp, Montpelier; and her fiancé, Nathan Drumm, Cedar Lake, Mich.

Preceding her in death were grandparents, Paul Repp and Richard and Doris (Thiel) Hurtig.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Wesley United Methodist Church, Bryan, with Ted Webster officiating. Burial will be in Ney Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
