In Tuesday's Hicksville Board of Education article, it was reported that the Defiance County Economic Development Office made the original suggestion to place a roadway connecting Ohio 18 and 2 on land located near the new school site. According to Isaac Lee of DCED, the original idea had been suggested by several entities including DGL Consulting, Maumee. Lee said DCED had only been facilitating the information and that the idea never came out of their office.
