Tony Schuette

NAPOLEON -- Tony W. Schuette, 69, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Monday, November 2, 2009, at his residence.

He was born on January 18, 1940, to the late Arnold H. and Leota B. (Yaichner) Schuette. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company of Toledo, Ohio, in the Steel Fabrication and Welding Division. He was a member of UAW Local 1892 and a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Napoleon. Tony loved his family, playing golf, watching NASCAR and the Yankees. He was known for his great personality and fun-loving jokes.

He is survived by a stepmother, Gertrude Schuette, Napoleon, Ohio; sons, Scott (Angie) Schuette of Wauseon, Ohio, and Todd Schuette of Bryan, Ohio; grandchildren, David Schuette of Napoleon, Ohio, Audrey Sachs of Fort Louis, Washington, and Tiffany Schuette, Joscelynne Schuette and Aspen Schuette, all of Wauseon, Ohio; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruthann Gray of Napoleon, Ohio, and Carol Sue (Ron) Baerlin of Malinta, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 6, at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon, Ohio. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Napoleon. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon on Thursday and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
