The quartet of Joe Daly, John Mueller, Chris Stanfield and Dave Iliff were the top shooters during the summer league of the Defiance County Rifle and Pistol Club.
Daly took first in the expert class of rimfire shooting and in the sharpshooter class of cneterfire shooting. Mueller was first in the marksman in centerfire and sharpshoter in rimfire. Stanfield was first in marksman in rimfire while Iliff took honors in the unclassified rimfire.
Results in rimfire were: Joe Daly, expert, 278.7, 40x; Joe Hiler, expert, 276.8, 40x, Chris Stanfield, marksman, 272.8, 25x; Larry Brown, expert, 272.7, 21x; John Mueller, sharpshooter, 271.8, 32x; Matt Hampton, unclassified, 270.8, 30x; Ken Ott, marksman, 256.2, 20x; Travis Snyder, marksman, 237.8, 16x; Dave Iliff, unlimited, 117.3; Steve Snyder, marksman, 195.7, 5x; and Kenith
Snyder, unclassified, 194.3, 7x.
Results in centerfire were: Joe Daly, sharpshooter, 266.8, 27x; Joe Hiler, sharpshooter, 261.5, 31x; John Mueller, 243.2, 18 x; and Ken Ott, marksman, 225.5, 7x.
