PAYNE -- A Paulding County man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Sunday in Blue Creek Township.
Jesse Mobley, 32, 7805 County Road 82, Payne, was pronounced dead at the scene by county Coroner Dr. Joseph Kuhn, according to the Van West post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.
Troopers report that a motorcycle driven by Mobley was westbound on County Road 82, west of County Road 71, at 5:50 p.m. when the victim lost control of the motorcycle while braking and was thrown from the bike.
Mobley was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation, troopers stated.
