GRAND CHUTE, Wisc. -- Perioa Chiefs' starting pitcher Chris Carpenter has been promoted to Advanced A Day-tona of the Florida State League.
Carpenter, who sported he third-best ERA in the Midwest League (2.44), earned a no decision in his last start with the Chiefs on Saturday. Carpenter worked into the fifth inning against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, but a pair of rain delays put Carpenter's night to an early end.
