FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- South Bend Silver Hawks' outfielder Marc Krauss extended his hitting streak to seven games on Friday in the Silver Hawks 11-3 loss to the Fort Wayne TinCaps.

Krauss, a graduate of Patrick Henry High School, belted a RBI triple off of TinCaps' reliever Eduardo Perez.

Krauss, who has only played seven games with the Silver Hawks since being drafted this spring, had two hits during the contest, marking his first multi-hit game as a professional. Heading into Saturday's contest, Krauss was hitting .333 with three extra-base hits and three runs batted in.
