The Northwest Ohio Athletic League had 11 players named All-Ohio following the 2009 softball season.
A quartet of area softball standouts earned top honors by being named first team All-Ohio while nine others were named second team or honorable mention.
Defiance senior Lindsay Tobias, a University of Toledo signee, landed on the Division II first team as an outfielder.
The NWOAL added the other area first teamers with Archbold hurler Lauren Kern, also headed to Toledo, and Evergreen pitcher Nicole Natter on the Division III squad.
Montpelier infielder Brooke Willibey rounded out the area's first team selections by getting the nod in Division IV.
Outside of area first team players, Wauseon outfielder Megan Dennis captured honorable mention honors in Division II.
In Division III, Archbold outfielder Courtney Day and Delta catcher Adrienne Dick were second team All-Ohio.
Also earning honorable mention honors in Division III were Archbold infielder Andrea Allen, Evergreen outfielder Ashley Herr and Delta infielder Michelle Thiel.
Regional runner-up Patrick Henry placed outfielder Chelsea Reese on the second team in Division IV and infielder Hailey Phillips was honorable mention.
Hilltop pitcher Tiffani Jagielski joined Phillips on the honorable mention squad.
