Northwest Ohio Athletic League co-champions Archbold and Wauseon landed a total of three players on the All-NWOAL softball first team for the 2009 season.
Lauren Kern and Courtney Day of Archbold and Megan Dennis of Wauseon all were named first team this season. Joining them on the first team are Brigitte Kuszmaul of Bryan; Nicole Natter of Evergreen; Michelle Thiel of Delta; Chelsea Reese of Patrick Henry; Brooke Willibey of Montpelier, Megan Schwyn of Evergreen and Adrienne Dick of Delta.
