NEW BAVARIA -- A farming accident near here Saturday morning resulted in the death of a local man.
Joseph Thome Jr., 69, New Bavaria, was killed in an accident at 14-688 County Road C-2, New Bavaria. The Henry County Sheriff's Office, which handled the investigation, listed the time of the accident as 8:56 a.m.
Further details were unavailable before press time Saturday night.
