Area players and coaches receive District 7 honors

Ayersville senior Logan Wolfrum has been named the District 7 Division IV Co-Player of the Year for his performance during the 2008-2009 basketball season. Antwerp head coach Scott McMichael has been named Coach of the Year.

In Division II, Napoleon's Joel Hunter was named this year's top player while Wildcats' coach Tim Badenhop earned Coach of the Year honors.

In the girls' voting, Wauseon's Taylor Creager was tabbed the top D-II player, while Indians' head coach Brad Myers earned Coach of the Year honors.

In D-IV it was Pettisville sweeping the top awards with Erica King earning top player while Jason Waldvogel was top coach.

Boys

Division II

Player of the Year: Joel Hunter (Napoleon).
