Keep track of Sam Hornish Jr.'s progress in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series through the ESPN NASCAR widget, which will appear in this place throughout the season this year. The native of Defiance began his first full season competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for Penske Racing driving the No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge Charger in 2008, coupled with a limited schedule in the Nationwide Series.
Hornish is a 2006 winner of the Indianapolis 500 and also winner of the 2001, 2002 and 2006 IndyCar Series Championships.

I agree with Sundays comment from the commentators that Sam Hornish has had blenty of time to get it together, and now its time to get going and stop hitting everything he sees on the track, that alone would get him a top 15 finish.
