Thursday, 7:05 p.m., at Stever and Whisler Road, a sport utility vehicle driven by Kelly McKenney, 47, 21844 Whisler Road, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Wednesday, Tyler Yeager, 17, Defiance, was charged with criminal damaging after an alleged incident on Wayne Avenue.

Thursday, Dennis Irvin, 30, Defiance, was arrested on a bench warrant from Defiance Municipal Court. He was transported to Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Thursday, Monty Kitchenmaster Jr. 29, Defiance, and Cindel Fenter, 19, Defiance, were charged with disorderly conduct after an alleged incident at 700 Kiser St.

Thursday, Cassandra Branham, 21, Defiance, was charged with providing false information to a police officer following a traffic stop at Clinton and Arabella streets.

Thursday, Larissa Wagner, 26, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

Thursday, three Liberty Center male juveniles were charged with delinquency by means of breaking and entering, theft and complicity to commit a felony after allegedly stealing money from the Liberty Center Local Schools' athletic department.

Thursday, 1:44 p.m., at Ohio 109 and Marion Township Road D, a car driven by Danielle Hiegel, 18, D-956 Ohio 109, Holgate, struck a car driven by Rebekah Matthews, 24, Lima. Matthews was transported by Medic 1 to Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, where a condition update was unavailable. Hiegel was cited for failure to yield. Damage was moderate to Hiegel's vehicle and heavy to Matthews'.

Thursday, 7:41 p.m., at 16-210 County Road Z, a car driven by Gregory Smith, 33, 1109 Bavarian Lane, Bryan, struck a utility pole. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Defiance

Fire -- Thursday, 6:04 p.m., firefighters were called to 376 Wilson St. for a carbon monoxide investigation. Nothing was found.

Hicksville

Fire -- Thursday, 1:25 p.m., firefighters were called to 202 E. Arthur St., Hicksville, to extinguish a house fire. Edgerton and Sherwood fire departments and the Defiance County American Red Cross assisted at the scene.

Lara Punches of Defiance is in "serious, but guarded," condition in the Select Specialty Care Unit at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Punches was injured in a fire which occurred last month in a Fort Wayne apartment building. Donations for Punches are being accepted in the care of her father, Paul, at First Federal Bank, 601 Clinton St., Defiance.
