Lindsey Tobias of Defiance has been named an all-Western Buckeye League first team volleyball selection for the 2008 season. Kiersten Lehman of Defiance was named special mention, while Renee Riedel was named honorable mention.

Kelsey Waterman of league champion Celina was named WBL Player of the Year, while Carolyn Dammeyer of Celina was named WBL Coach of the Year.

All-GMC: Green Meadows Conference volleyball champion Antwerp landed a pair of players on the all-GMC volleyball first team for the 2008 season.

Mickae Schlatter and Kole Schlatter were named to the first team along with Kim Comden and Sarah Mutchler of Ayersville, Krystal Smazenko of Hicksville and Natalie Snyder and Sara Priest of Wayne Trace.

All-PCL: Ashley Remlinger and Jeremy Stober of Kalida have earned top honors in the Putnam County League after leading the Wildcats to the PCL title in 2008.

Remlinger has been named PCL Player of the Year, while Stober has been named PCL Coach of the Year.

Joining Remlinger on the first team are Jess Knueve of Kalida, Morgan Kohls and Erica Glass of Grove, Shannon Nadler of Leipsic, Tricia Honigford of Ottoville and Connie Schulte of Pandora-Gilboa.
