Defiance Community Cultural Council's "Moats Enterprises" classical chamber music series, "Sunday at the Center," will continue this Sunday at 7 p.m. with a performance by Quelque Chose in the Arts & Media Center, 319 Wayne St.

The series is sponsored by the State Bank & Trust Co. and Renovators Commercial Inc. This performance is dedicated to the memory of Jean and Larry Levy, former Defiance residents who were active in the development of the arts in the community. The performance is partially funded by the Richard M. Small family.

Quelque Chose, French for "something," is a trio comprised of violin, French horn, and piano.

The pianist is Greg Kostraba, known to WGDE FM 91 listeners as the afternoon music host. The program includes the Brahms Trio for this combination of instruments, and two selections by William Grant Still.

Kostraba has successfully combined a career as a radio professional and concert pianist.

At the Fourth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs in June 2004, Greg's performances were called "mesmerizing" (Fort Worth Star-Telegram) and "boldly hewn" (Dallas Morning News), and garnered him semifinalist status.

Dr. Kostraba holds masters and doctoral degrees in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a degree in international relations from American University in Washington, D.C.

Robert Garcia, French horn, is a native of El Paso, Texas, and an active chamber musician performing regularly at the St. Roch Chamber Music Festival in Caseville, Michigan.

He also performs as a member of American Opera Group Orchestra in Chicago as well as with the Lakeside Pride Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Symphonic Band. He was a semi-finalist in the American Horn Competition, a finalist in the CCM Concerto Competition, and was a member of the Cincinnati Philharmonia Orchestra, the Cincinnati Contemporary Music Ensemble, and the Cincinnati Wind Symphony as well as the symphony orchestras in Waco and San Angelo, Texas. Garcia holds a Master of Music in Horn Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Music Education from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Rico McNeela, violin, is the Director of Orchestral Studies at the University of Toledo and he conducts the University Symphony Orchestra.

He is the violinist in the Toledo Trio and teaches studio violin and viola at UT. Mr. McNeela has also taught at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, and at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa.

Tickets for the concert are $10 and available at the door.
