State Patrol

Tuesday, 6:40 a.m., at Buckskin and Hicksville-Edgerton Roads in Defiance County's Hicksville Township, vehicles driven by Dennis Ankney, 33, Cecil, and Scott Burris, 46, Hicksville, collided. Ankney was cited for failure to obey turn and stop signals. Damage was light to both vehicles.

Tuesday, 9:49 a.m., on U.S. 24, near Limbaugh Road in Defiance County's Delaware Township, a semi driven by James Blackburn, 49, Napoleon, struck the rear of a stopped semi driven by Tiberiu Vladar, 28, Canton, Mich., pushing it into the rear of a stopped vehicle driven by Austin Schwarzbek, 18, 14511 U.S. 24, Defiance. Following this, a vehicle driven by Benjamin Rodriguez Jr., 37, 301 Minneapolis St., struck the rear of Blackburn's semi. Vladar and Rodriguez were taken by Delaware Township EMS to Defiance Regional Medical Center where condition updates are unavailable. Blackburn and Rodriguez were each charged with assured clear distance. Damage was light to Schwarzbek's vehicle, moderate to Vladar's vehicle and heavy to the Blackburn and Rodriguez vehicles.

Tuesday, Daniel Davila, 22, 381 Wilson St., was charged with assault and two counts of disorderly conduct, while Zoe Velez, 29, 1020 Washington Ave., and Erica Boulton, 22, Archbold, were each charged with disorderly conduct following an alleged incident at 1020 Washington Ave.

Defiance Sheriff

Monday, Samantha Fenter, 19, Oakwood, was charged with fictitious plates, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Bend Road, Ney. Additional charges are pending. Fenter was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Tuesday, Robert Grinnell, 25, Sherwood, was charged with open container, while Brittni Vogelsong, 18, Sherwood, was charged with obstructing official business. Philip Vogelsong, 20, Sherwood, was charged with obstructing official business, underage consumption and possession of drug paraphernalia and Lance Bonar, 20, Ney, was charged with underage consumption following an alleged incident in Ney.

Williams Sheriff

Tuesday, 11:46 p.m., on Ohio 34 near Williams County Road 5-G, a vehicle driven by Connie Ridgway, 35, Edon, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Henry Sheriff

Saturday, 4:40 p.m., at Ohio 110 and U.S. 6, a car driven by Richard Barron, 60, 213 Thomas Ave., Napoleon, attempted to turn from Ohio 110 to U.S. 6 and was struck by a motorcycle driven by William Reither, 39, Pemberville. Reither and his passenger, Kelly Ross, 38, Pemberville, were thrown from the motorcycle and Ross hit the front of a minivan driven by Mary Roberts, 61, 15760 County Road 168, Paulding, before coming to rest on the road. Reither was taken from the scene by air ambulance to University of Toledo, where he was listed in "fair" condition Tuesday afternoon. Ross was taken by Napoleon rescue to Henry County Hospital, where her condition was unavailable. Damage was heavy to Barron and Reither's vehicles and light to Roberts' vehicle.

Tuesday, 3:44 p.m., at K-477 County Road 5, a car driven by Alex Myers, 16, M-543 County Road 7, Napoleon, struck a ditch. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Tuesday, David Parks, 47, Deshler, was arrested on charges of assault and possession of drug paraphernalia after an alleged incident at 3-848 County Road H.

Napoleon Police

Tuesday, Rich Abdo, 18, and a 17-year-old male, both of McClure, were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, prohibitions and DUI following a traffic stop at 800 Sheffield Ave.

Tuesday, Stephanie Garcia, 29, Napoleon, was served a summons on a charge of theft.

Tuesday, Melvin Wright, 42, Grand Rapids, was served a bench warrant for failure to pay. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Fire -- Tuesday, 11:30 a.m., firefighters were called to a truck fire at 1056 Farmer-Mark Road.
