Dismissed Wednesday -- Burton Vollmar, Malinta. * Police reports State Patrol Wednesday, 7 a.m., at Ohio 18 and Bend Road, a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Hug, 45, Bryan, was struck in the side by a vehicle driven by Tammy Taylor, 30, 844 N. Clinton St., after Hug failed to yield at a stop sign. Taylor was transported by Sherwood EMS to Defiance Regional Medical Center where her condition was unavailable this morning. Hug was cited for failure to yield. Damage was light to the Hug vehicle and heavy to the Taylor vehicle. Wednesday, 6:55 p.m., on Ohio 15 in Defiance County's Noble Township, a vehicle driven by Sarah Ross, 18, Sherwood, struck and killed a deer. Damage to the vehicle was light. Wednesday, 9:50 p.m., on Ohio 18 in Defiance County's Delaware Township, a vehicle driven by Brian Skates, 41, 17087 Ohio 18, struck and killed a dog. Damage to the vehicle was light. Wednesday, 10:15 p.m., on Ohio 66 in Defiance County's Tiffin Township, a vehicle driven by Marsha Browneller, 44, West Unity, struck and killed a horse. Damage to the vehicle was heavy. Defiance Police Wednesday, 10:22 a.m., at Ohio 15 and Auglaize Street, a vehicle driven by Steven Furnas, 23, 790 Chippewa Drive, was struck by a vehicle driven by Orwin Mansfield, 81, 313 Tacoma St., after Mansfield allegedly ran a red light. Mansfield was cited for a red light violation. Damage to both vehicles was light. Wednesday, Kenneth VanPelt, 23, Napoleon, was charged with theft following an alleged incident at the Defiance YMCA, Palmer Drive. Wednesday, Gabriel Gutierrez, 20, 815 Bell St., was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing following an alleged incident at Kingsbury Pool. Today, Tad Yeager, 38, 1152 Wayne Ave., was charged with resisting arrest, vehicular trespassing and disorderly conduct while intoxicated following an alleged incident at Johns Manville plant II, 408 Perry St. Henry Sheriff Wednesday, Luke Roehrig, 18, Defiance, was arrested by the Defiance County Sheriff's Office on a warrant from Henry County. He is charged with trafficking in cocaine and was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker. Wednesday, a 15-year-old male juvenile from Malinta was reported missing after leaving home with his non-custodial father. The incident is not considered a kidnapping. Napoleon Police Wednesday, 7:01 p.m., at Ohio Street and Glenwood Avenue, a car driven by Gregory Jameson, 49, 1006 Westchester Ave., Napoleon, struck a truck driven by Cynthia Fruth, 46, 1019 Reynolds St., Napoleon. Jameson was cited for failure to control and OVI. Damage to both vehicles was moderate. Wednesday, $400 in cash was reported stolen in a break-in at 119 Yeager St. Wednesday, three forged checks were reported at 1247 Scott St. Wednesday, Nicole Castner, 22, Napoleon, was charged with telephone harassment.
