Defiance Police Monday, 3:39 p.m., on South Jefferson Avenue, north of Sherwood Drive, a vehicle driven by Tonya Wichman, 35, 1690 Woodhurst Drive, was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Bill Anstett, 63, 07027 Ohio 15. Anstett was cited for assured clear distance. Damage to both vehicles was light. Monday, Frank Boyer, 39, 1706 Cinnamon Lane, was charged with domestic violence following an alleged incident at his residence. He was later charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damaging after another alleged incident following his release. Monday, Kalee Taquino, 18, 911 E. Second St., was charged with shoplifting following an alleged incident at Hawk's Clothing, 1500 N. Clinton St. Defiance Sheriff Monday, Daniel Oberlin, 22, and Laramie Davis, 22, both of 06909 Ohio 66, were charged with theft following an alleged incident at the Lake Christy Meadows subdivision. Monday, Candy Greear, 38, 625 Fifth St., was arrested on a bench warrant out of Defiance Municipal Court. Monday, Natasha Knight, 25, 914 S. Jefferson Ave., reported a GPS unit and two cellphones were stolen out of her car while it was parked at her residence. Henry Sheriff Friday, 12:31 p.m., on Henry County Road 13, south of Henry County Road S, a motorcycle driven by Alysea Mull, 45, Wauseon, drove off the left side of the road and crashed in a grass field. Mull was transported by air ambulance to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, where she was treated and released. Damage to the vehicle was light. Friday, 3:37 p.m., on Ohio 108, north of Henry County Road U, a motorcycle driven by James King, 62, 911 E. Lutz Road, Archbold, struck a vehicle driven by Ryan Wyse, 28, Lancaster. King was transported by Napoleon Rescue to the Henry County Hospital where his condition was unavailable. He was cited for assured clear distance. Damage to both vehicles was light. Friday, 10:30 p.m., on Henry County Road T, west of Henry County Road 19, a vehicle driven by Nichole Spradlin, 19, Napoleon, slid off the side of the road and into a wheat field. Spradlin was transported by her parents to the Henry County Hospital where her condition was unavailable. Damage to the vehicle was moderate. Friday, 10:58 p.m., on U.S. 24, east of Henry County Road 6C, a vehicle driven by Zachary Reyna, 18, Canal Winchester, struck a tree after swerving to avoid a collision with an unidentified vehicle. Damage to Reyna's vehicle was moderate. Saturday, 10:10 p.m., on Ohio 109, south of Henry County Road D, a vehicle driven by Megan Castillo, 20, Leipsic, struck a ditch. Castillo was transported by air ambulance to the University of Toledo Medical Center where she was listed in "fair" condition. Damage to the vehicle was heavy. Napoleon Police Today, Patrick Stutsman, 25, Napoleon, was charged with domestic violence following an alleged incident at 2461 Glen Arbors Drive, Napoleon. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker. Williams Common Pleas Michael Hernandez, 30, Bryan, was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole on the charge of rape, a first-degree felony, with a specification acknowledging that the victim was less than 10 years of age. Rodney Baranowski, 49, Fayette, was sentenced to two years of community control on the charge of non-support of dependants, a fifth-degree felony.
