Tuesday, 12:40 p.m., on Ohio 18 in Defiance County's Mark Township, a vehicle driven by Jordan Smalley, 16, 107 Bryan St., Hicksville, overturned. Smalley was taken by his mother to Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville, where a condition update was unavailable. Smalley was cited for failure to control. Damage was heavy.

Tuesday, 9:35 p.m., on Conkle Road in Defiance County's Milford Township, a vehicle driven by Sherry Herman, 45, Edgerton, struck and killed a deer. Damage was light.

Tuesday, 9:45 p.m., on Ayersville-Pleasant Bend Road in Defiance County's Highland Township, a vehicle driven by Summer Duncan, 19, Antwerp, struck a deer. Damage was heavy.

Tuesday, 11:19 p.m., on Ohio 249 in Defiance County's Washington Township, a vehicle driven by Juliana Vandemark, 24, Bryan, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.

Tuesday, 12:45 p.m., at the CSX Railroad viaduct on South Clinton Street, near Davidson Street, the top of a truck driven by David Leffers, 63, Delphos, struck the viaduct. Leffers was cited for assured clear distance. Damage was light.

Tuesday, 4:41 p.m., on Clinton Street, near River Drive, a vehicle driven by Melissa Babcook, 26, 104 1/2 E. Jackson St., Paulding, was struck in the rear by a motorcycle driven by Michael Rufner, 43, 1131 S. Jackson Ave., Defiance. Rufner was cited for assured clear distance. Damage was moderate to both vehicles.

Tuesday, Randolph Wright, 29, 622 Hopkins St., was charged with domestic violence following an alleged incident at the residence.

Tuesday, Amy Butcher, 39, 115 Jefferson Ave., was charged with theft following an alleged incident at WalMart, North Clinton Street.

Tuesday, Carlos Ramirez, 43, 1000 Sunday St., was charged with public intoxication following an alleged incident in the 600 block of Blaine Street. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Tuesday, Carol Goller, 43, 305 E. Vine St., Sherwood, was charged with falsification following an incident at 324 Perry St.

Tuesday, Cynthia Holifield, 49, 704 Summit St., was charged with theft and criminal trespassing following an incident at 190 Stadium Drive.

Today, Steven Mekus, 25, 26099 Ayersville-Pleasant Bend Road, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated following an incident at Spanky's Bar, 120 Clinton St.

Defiance Sheriff

Today, 1:02 a.m., on Evansport Road, near Ohio 15 in Defiance County's Noble Township, a vehicle driven by Patricia Rethmel, 51, 21551 Whisler Road, struck and killed a deer. Damage was moderate.

Tuesday, a 16-year-old Defiance female was charged with delinquency by means of underage consumption and disorderly conduct following an alleged incident on Independence Road.

Williams Sheriff

Tuesday, 11:39 p.m., on Ohio 15, near Williams County Road M.50, a vehicle driven by Bradley Fackler, 38, Camden, Mich., struck and killed a deer. Damage was moderate.

Henry Sheriff

Tuesday, 8:04 a.m., at F-615 Ohio 109, a car driven by Quinn Nash, 16, Romulus, Mich., and a van driven by Joseph Michel, 24, Ottawa, collided. Damage to both vehicles was moderate.

Napoleon Police

Tuesday, Maria Gutierrez, 51, Napoleon, was served a summons for a dog at large after an alleged incident on Short Street.

Defiance

Fire -- Tuesday, 2:09 p.m., firefighters were called to Defiance College housing at 180 Grand Ave. for an alarm activated by food cooking on the stove. There was no fire.

Ruben Garcia, 55, 1058 Holgate Ave., appeared Monday on a charge of assaulting a police officer, a fourth-degree felony. An arraignment was set for Wednesday. Bond was set at $50,000. A pretrial nearing was also scheduled on charges of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Curtis Quigley, 29, 1503 Greenler Road, appeared on charges of OVI (fourth violation), a fourth-degree felony; and left of center. He was released on a personal recognizance bond.
